Uploading Documents

Uploading Bank Statements

How to download bank statements from Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and other major US banks — then upload them to AI Tax Accountant.

Bank statements give AI Tax Accountant a transaction-level view that catches deductions your P&L may have rolled up or missed. Download each statement as a PDF directly from your bank — not a screenshot or photo — and upload all twelve months of the tax year.

Chase

  • Log in to chase.com and open the business account.
  • Click Statements and choose the month you need.
  • Click Download PDF. Repeat for each month of the tax year.

Bank of America

  • Log in to bankofamerica.com and select Statements & Documents from the account menu.
  • Pick the statement period and click the PDF icon.
  • Save each month to your computer.

Wells Fargo

  • Log in to wellsfargo.com and open the business checking or savings account.
  • Click Statements & Documents > Statements.
  • Select each month and click View/Download to save the PDF.

Upload to the Portal

  • Log in to portal.aitaxaccountant.com and open Upload Documents from the left navigation.
  • Set the File type dropdown to Bank Statement.
  • Drag all twelve PDFs onto the upload area, or click to browse.
  • Wait for each row to show Uploaded with a green checkmark.

If your bank only offers combined year-end summaries, those work too — but monthly statements give the AI more granularity for categorizing transactions.
